Jack Black Joins the Five-Timers Club & Jams "Seven Nation Army" with Jack White on SNL
What's Trending
Jack Black just entered SNL royalty. The man hosted Saturday Night Live for the fifth time this weekend, officially joining the legendary Five-Timers Club — and Tina Fey crashed his monologue to welcome him with the incredible line: "You're the first Black in the Five-Timers Club." But the REAL moment? Jack Black and Jack White performing "Seven Nation Army" together during the monologue. The crossover event we never knew we needed but will never shut up about.
SNL U.K. is finding its groove with Riz Ahmed. The Oscar-nominated actor hosted the third episode and roasted the entire nation in his opening monologue: "We like it when things are a little bit crap." Honestly, iconic energy. Meanwhile the cold open brought out Peppa Pig and Olivia Colman to cheer up Britain, which is so absurdly British it hurts.
SNL also gave us Black Snape and it was unhinged. Kam Patterson showed up on Weekend Update as Professor Snape, calling Harry Potter "racist" and "The Proud Boy Who Lived" for making the school's only Black teacher secretly evil. This is clearly a nod to the HBO reboot casting and honestly? The bit writes itself.
